Manifestation: the law of attraction.

So much has been already written about the law of attraction. so many guides, texts, techniques, with a lot of it focusing on the infinite power of your mind. the power that you have, through which you can manifest and bring to life anything that you want. The problem is, the law of attraction doesn’t work that way – it doesn’t bring you what you want, it brings you what you vibrate.

Lao Tzu, an ancient Chinese philosopher, said: “Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”

The idea that we attract what we put out has been around since ancient times, and many credit Buddha with first introducing this thought to the world.

Your vibrations determine your manifestations (conscious or not).

Do you worry a lot about money? Do you often say or think “I can’t afford that” or “I don’t have enough money for this”? Do you find yourself working hard to get better, have more, and yet nothing changes? You are still stuck in the money loop – of limiting beliefs and negative thoughts, which are not letting you bring to your life what you actually want.

The law of attraction is not about what you deeply desire, it is about your deepest beliefs – those beliefs shape your thoughts, your words, your decisions and, in turn, your reality.

Your beliefs, in turn, show up as vibrations. Are your vibrations ones of a lack mentality, hustle, constant longing for more? Or do you vibrate abundance, wealth and happiness? This is the crucial distinction and the reason why you might not be able to call in & receive what you ask for. Because it’s not coming from the right place.

Steps to vibrate higher:

  • practice gratitude and be grateful for what you already have
  • surround yourself with positivity
  • show kindness to others
  • focus on abundance, not lack
  • visualize what you want and how you want it
  • watch for synchronicities and write them down
  • use positive affirmations
  • have a morning practice: dance, meditate, move, pray, do yoga – do whatever it is that makes you feel calm and grounded

Thoughts are a form of energy.

When you focus on the abundance of good things in your life, you will attract more positive things into your life. But if you center yourself on negative thoughts and focus on what you lack in life, then you will ultimately attract negativity into your life and what you want most will continue to elude you.

Whatever it is you think (and say) you want, the key is that you have to also believe it. If you do your morning affirmations and repeat that you are abundant, yet everything in you screams that you are not, you are still in a low vibration state of mind. The most powerful part of affirmations and calling into your life what you want, regardless of the specific tool you use, are your beliefs, and the emotions that go with them. You should not just say that you are abundant, you have to believe that you are. You have to let yourself feel all the emotions that come with the abundance – joy, freedom, the ability to help others – this is what will help you vibrate higher and attract what you want most. Let yourself feel it, see it happening, feel how it feels to be in that place already.

Your desire to achieve or attract a certain thing must be strong and unwavering in order for you to manifest it in your life. When your desires are weak and you yourself don’t actually believe that you will ever achieve what you want – well, you won’t. And the reason for it does not lay in your abilities, it lies in your beliefs about your abilities.

Believe and do.

As much as your thoughts and beliefs are a crucial part of manifesting what you want into your life, so is actually acting on it. Taking the steps needed to bring you closer to your dreams and desires, meaning – living in alignment with your goals and taking the steps to bring them to life.

Whatever your goal is, you still have to put in the work necessary to achieve it. From there, using positive mantras, meditations and visualizations can further reinforce your goal with the universe. The universe won’t work for you but with you.

“What you think you become.
What you feel you attract.
What you imagine you create.”
— Buddha

You deserve abundance, in all forms, and you alone have the power to create a life that you genuinely love and enjoy. All you have to do is start.
