Om Purnamadah Purnamidam
From the completeness comes the completeness
Om Purnamadah Purnamidam, is a mantra which describes the eternal nature of the infinite and complete state of the universe. It explains the self-sustaining nature of the cosmos, the completeness of the universe. If we take away fullness from fullness, fullness still remains.
Purnama in Bahasa Indonesian means full moon, infinity, and perfection. Purnama Rituals is an act of appreciation of nature, moon phases and rituals associated with them, but also the perfection of nature in itself.
How did Purnama Rituals come to be?
Hi there! This is Zuza and Olek, founders of Purnama Rituals, and we’d like to briefly introduce you to our story. Working corporate jobs and leading an unconscious life, we felt that time was slipping through our fingers. We decided we needed a change. A couple of months spent in Bali and a year-long trip around Australia were a breakthrough moment in our lives.
Currently, we live in a coastal city in Poland, close to the sea and nature, where we work on growing our brand, as well as ourselves. In addition to us, the brand is also co-created by Kamil, our friend who supports Purnama Rituals from the marketing side of things. Kamil observes the world from different perspectives, living a busy life in Warsaw, looking for a balance between city life and the need for inner peace and self-development.
A brand inspired by Bali, created in Australia, implemented in Poland.
Bali, where we lived for a few months, was incredibly inspiring – it is a magical place, full of traditions and ancient rituals, with a beautiful energy which we wanted to incorporate into our lives. We then left Bali and spent a year living in Australia, working on creating the brand of our dreams. Australia and the people we met there showed us that life is more than just work and constant chase to keep up with the rapidly changing reality of our world. We began to live a more attentive life, prioritizing listening to ourselves and our needs, self-growth and self-reflection. Getting to know the Aboriginal culture, which is the oldest still ongoing culture in the world, was a greatly inspiring. Smudging and burning incense is one of the rituals used by the Aboriginal people for centuries.
Ancient rituals for modern minds
Our philosophy is Ancient rituals for modern minds. As a brand, we focus mostly on mindfulness and the power of rituals. Rituals reduce the level of anxiety and stress and help achieve a state of balance, greater awareness and a deeper connection to yourself. For us, rituals help reduce stress and create practices which help us better understand signals from our bodies – both the positive and negative. The wonderful feeling that is getting to know yourself on a deeper level is something we try to share with our community – by sharing knowledge and products that help create balance and promote mindfulness. By creating Purnama Rituals, we want to take you on a journey that we have experienced ourselves, and encourage you to listen to yourself and your needs, to become self-aware and lead a more mindful life.
Take a moment to truly get to know yourself, listen to the signals of your body & soul, and create your own rituals with us.
